Too bad we can't post pictures on our C310 site like this.

0 Last weeks cruise around Fidalgo Island..... 6 hours 30minutes

1 Fidalgo has a few refineries

2 They have slowed down to look at the deer...just in front of jib.

3 This is how they do it.

4 Not sure what they are doing

5 A friendly place

6 In Padilla Bay looking at entry of Swinomish Channel.

7 I think I will follow this boat he looks like he's been here before.

8 Check the insturments....he is moving right along...depth not to bad.

9

10 Train bridge is usually open.

11 Indian casino.

12 This boat was blowing it's horn so I turned around and took a picture.

13 Now in the Swinomish Channel.

14 Washington's water front style home style.

16 Fidalgo Island on the starboard side logging still a big thing.

17 A few shots on how they roundup and tow logs.

18

19

20

21

22

23 Loading the logs.

24

26 A little crowded in the channel

28 La Connor

30 Was going to stop for lunch but they were in the middle of a cleaning project.

32 Good place to stop and eat but I didn't care for triple rafting.

33 Friendly place.

34 Maybe local stores will give parking discount?

35 The bridge.

36 Hole in the wall.....

38 Forgot the name of this place.

40 Putting together patio furniture.

42 Typical cruising equipment aboard....kid has a big smile and waving.

44 They made a movie here.

46 A little narrow but scenic.

48 Keeping track of numbers.

50 This boat made it too.

52 Long long long tide line.

56 Skaget Bay and looking back where I came from.

58 Deception Pass.

60 Did a fast check on the computer ...speed
of current under bridge.......5.2 knots.

62 Moving pretty fast with an ebb tide....hard to take pictures.

64 Remembered I had to increase speed of boat while
taking this picture under the bridge.........it gave
better control of boat.

66 Not too sure what this fisherman is doing with net.

68 Name on boat is Smokercraft.....guess that's why he is lighting up.

70 Looking back....I made it thru.

72 Heading out to Rosario Striaght.

74 A Rosario Striaght stray log and log tender......thanks buddy.

76 Sails up..... got some wind moving out with the tide.

77 Nice view.

78 In the foreground ......not sure what this is used for.

80 Loading dock.

82 Burrows Bay and community of Skyline.

84 Two gals on park bench signing......
Hey nice looking boat and good lookin Captian.

85 The Vancouver Island ferry leaving Anacortes dock.

86 Washington Park boat ramp....... still have good wind.

88 Passing home and looking at my no CC&R'S neighborhood .

90 Atlast.... back at the dock and the nextdoor
boats dog giving me ....well seaman you lucked out
again and made it back.

Paul,
Looks like a good trip. We got a slip at the Skyline Marina for the night when we left the San Juans this year (July). Then the next day went out through burrows bay, and caught the start of a flood tide through deception pass. Then down through Skagit Bay to Everett.

The whole area up there has awesome scenery.

Definition: Covenants, conditions and restrictions are limitations and rules placed on a group of homes by a builder, developer, neighborhood association and / or homeowner association.
In other words a set of rules like mow your lawn, keep your home maintained painted etc and if you rent your home out same conditions apply to renters.
As long as I live here I can laugh at the home next door, verity is the spice of live... two boats and a car parked on the front lawn, car parts next to side walk and trash or what I would call trash next to the garage. Some neigbors are up set with good cause....

The down side is they are not very sociable turn away when they see you.... once I said Hi the guy said Hi and went back to what he was doing and I've never seen the little girl come out and play.
But who knows about next year?

My brother and his wife are coming tomorrow to visit for a week and are from Forest Meadows, California one of those gated golf communities it will be interesting to see what he says.

Hey I can't complain got my health ,wife, grandkids who visit, dog, boat and city of Anacortes with 40% dedicated park land and sailing in the Pacific NW.
