I'm offering my 1989 C-25 Standard Rig Wing Keel #5862 for $12,000. It's time for me to get a bigger boat. The boat is in great shape and ready to sail. She's docked near Kemah, TX with no trailer to worry with. The '89 8HP 2 stroke Suzuki is very reliable. Pretty much everything that can wear out has been replaced within the last 12 months.

Colby,

I sent you an email a few minutes ago. I'd like to look at your boat tomorrow during lunch of possible. I work in La Porte.

What time would be good for me to call you?

Gary

Hey Colby,

I'm pretty sure your boat is a standard rig like mine. If it was a tall you wouldn't have the boom clearance you do with your bimini. Either way you have a nice boat good luck with the sale. I'll be moving my boat out of watergate soon. Winter is coming and I'll go to a cheaper slip further inland

I believe this is a tall rig - he only has the boom clearance because he's got the back of the boom elevated more than the front. If it were a standard rig I believe he would have maybe 6" of clearance between the boom and the bimini with the boom level.

I am curious about the boom clearance/Bimini for tall rig as well. I have to look my boat over again to see if it worth considering. Nice boat !

Y'all are right. I misread the diagrams in the owners manual. Good thing it's a standard rig; I couldn't have the bimini with the TR as it turns out.

Sold by a proud owner to a happy buyer. Wish me luck on my search for a C-30.

Congrats Colby!

Great boat you're leaving there, but you'll love the Catalina 30 too.

Colby - there is a pristine C30 on Lake Travis being sold by a friend of mine, Steve Steakley. His home phone is 512-928-3655 if you want to pursue it.
