With no NASCAR race to watch today I was needing way to pass the day. As I was wondering around in the garage looking for something to do I spotted a piece of 1/4 inch tinted lexan left over from a previous project, the old wheels started turning again.
I drew out a oval on the hatch board and used a jigsaw to cut the starboard.
Using a router I cut a inset the same depth as the thickness of the lexan on the outside of the hatch.
Here's a closer look.
I cut out the lexan to fit the oval using the jigsaw with a fine cut metal blade. Used 3M 4000uv to bed the lexan in the cutout.
