Ok, here's a new one, Anyone ever experience rust forming on their centerboard cable? I notice evidence of this on a few spots and fear that it might weaken it over time. Now I'm no electrician, but I was told to clip a clamp on the cable while at dock, attached to a sacrificial anode hanging over the side to reduce the possibility of electrolysis on the cable (being it is the only metal on the boat under saltwater). Could my overprotection of what could happen some day, possibly be causing the rust issue? UGH......
