David,

I had a hard time unrolling my new Quantum 150 Sail in my family room....the room is just not large enough. I took only one dimension which reading your postings sounds like you want the sail dimension along the forestay since you indicated when you raised your sail it was too long by several inches...at least that is my understanding of your concern/question.

My sail is set up to be threaded on a CDI Furling Rig on a tall rig mast. When Quantum took the measurements off my boat and also seeing how the old sail was set up, they adjusted the new sail dimension taking into account how the new sail has to be threaded into the CDI foil slot and then where exactly it should be positioned once in the slot and made taut.

That sail dimension from end to end was 29' 10" along the forestay.
If you need one of the other dimensions, let me know and I will figure out where else in the house to unfold the sail. Today and tomorrow, it's raining/wet outside, so can't do it there where it would be easiest to take the dimensions.

You've got furling and I don't. So, taking your 29' 10" for the sail, and adding the distance from the tack on the furler to the bow fitting where the furler attaches to the boat, what do you get. Looks like it would be right at 30'6" perhaps a bit more, right?

Definitely ! The furling rig besides the drum and fittings, the sail is set a bit higher than the bottom of the furling slot.
29'10" vs 30'6" means only an 8" difference between the different configurations. My thought is that you probably can make do with even a couple of more inches and it still will be okay.
