Had the luxury of spending the last four or five days cruising around the Sound a bit. Went to Bell Harbor for the first time, and was impressed. The marina is smack downtown Seattle. Right next to the pier where they have the concerts and the aquarium. The Marina is secured and monitored 24 hours. Probably one of the safest and cleanest marinas I've been to. The best part is your within walking distance to most of Seattle. The "bad" part is that you're within walking distance of Pike's, Starbucks, Ivars, etc. We were going to stay another night, but decided our wallets and waistlines were taking too much of a beating and headed to Blake Island. Blake, by the way, was full when we arrived at 12:30 on a Friday. Ended up on that nasty rope/ bouy thing.
Good to see your out and about Doug. Did you see Noeta's picture in Main Sheet Page 14 and just inside the cover. Tacoma has been windless the last few days. In the 90s today and humid. Did the new glass museum and Anthony's today. Hope to get out on the boat soon.
