Steve brought up the idea of swapping his WB for a WK. That made me think of vacation exchanges. I wonder if there would be interest in swapping boats for a week vacation. I don't know if I'm looking to do that this year but it's an intriguing idea. Any thoughts?

I am willing to swap boats in the second week of February with someone in Florida. There is a Walmart about 30 minutes away where you can buy a snow shovel. I will even provide shore power and water. Might be good if the admiral isn't too fond of water.

Actually it's quite an idea. You'd have to be careful though. For instance you wouldn't want to turn a non-local loose anywhere near the San Juan's because of local tidal conditions. Around Daytona there's sandbars/oyster bars that you have to be aware of. You'd have to set things up well in advance so you had time to really research the area and have the local captain make you aware of potential nightmares, etc. I couldn't take part for a couple years, things are too hectic for me right now but ...............

Nah! You guys would be red-lining my Honda 225, flying off swells, and harrassing sailors from here to Newport, yelling "Yeeeee-Haaaaa!!" And the bridge operators in town would be mad at me for inappropriate use of my radio!

Great Idea! I'd rather hone my skills on your boat than mine! Less costly for me to make mistakes that way!

Hey Stamp, I think Oilers Tix are cheaper than Leafs Tix. I'll swap you since our boat is in a similar situation. (Leafs tix not included...)

Okay, you started it...

I heard that the OPP (Ontario Provincial Police) is cracking down on speeders in the Toronto area.
Speeders are given Toronto Maple Leaf tickets in lieu of a speeding ticket on their first offense.

If caught a second time, Speeders are required to use the tickets.
