maybe this is something we miss when we shop for sails. That is: specific advice on how to use the manufacturer's sail.
Ullman has a well deserved, good reputation.

Hey, Don, I found that UK-Halsey link very helpful. I liked the graph in chapter 4 section 4 showing the range of usefulness of genoa/gennaker flat/gennaker full/spinnaker.

Now I think I have to set up an adjustable tack line for my gennaker, just to test those concepts. I might make use of the old mainsheet blocks and lines sitting in the rope locker. My launch date in March is getting closer!

As is my launch date in late April.

I spoke with UK guy at the Toronto Boat Show. Very helpful and patient. Also very technical. I think I understood his first and last sentences. It was everything in between that confused me.
