Love it!
As for dog names, you can use the name of the star in the Canis Major constellation, Sirius ("dog star"). I like celestial boat names (Celeste is another one of my favorites).
We have a black great dane named Sirius because he is a "Canis Major" (big dog) and he has about 5 or 6 individual pure white hairs scattered throughout his coat, like stars in a night sky. Now, when we go out and people ask his name, they automatically think we named him after Sirius Black in Harry Potter. This annoys me, but it makes sense that people would think that!

Graphic is a fishing bobber.
Here are a couple that I always remember and like. We have a sailboat on the lake where we sail that is called: Knot 4 Sale And the other is: After You.. I haven't seen one with that name, but have seen it on lists. I guess then when someone asks what you have named your boat you can say: "Named it After You."
