This is of no real help...but I was born in the Bronx and lived there until age 10 when my family moved to Levittown, Long Island. Then after college, a couple of years later moved to Huntington, Long Island and eventually bought a house in Huntington....then bought an ODay 23 and kept it in Huntington Harbor till 1985. Then sold both the house and boat in the same week...moved to Northern Virginia.

Probably not the answer you're looking for, but since we don't know why your asking: I was born and raised in Jackson Hights,Queens New York. Living in Michigan now for many years.

G.

It appears that you and your admiral will be sailing with the pop-top up. On several occasions folks here have suggested that you NOT do this since the top has a tendency to drop unexpectedly, and if someone is under it, well I'm sure you understand. There is a locking device that rides in the mast sail slot (called a J clamp)that's supposed to handle the problem, but some choose to tie the top up in addition to the J clamp.

Nice picture!
