this is one of the few shots of me actually on the boat. Usually I am the guy with the camera, so I am not in the pic. This past Sunday it was blowing about 15 or 18. The spinaker wasn't repaired yet or it would have been even more fun. It was really choppy outside the breakwall, but that didn't keep the crew and I from Doing a quick run down and back inside the breakwall. im' in the Hard Rock T-shirt, starboard-aft. The Guy standing in the hole is my co-owner Harvey. Two things to note about this photo. 1. We left the Admiral and Commodore at home (still can't figure out how we pulled that off) and 2. All you old timers talk about purchasing an auto-helm. No need, just introduce someone to sailing and they won't let go, e.g. Cris at the helm steering.
Nice pic Duane. Looks like everyone is having a good time! There should be a thread where owners post pics so we can put faces to names/boats! If someone can tell me how to add a photo to a post I'd really appreciate it! Thanks, Nate

Thanks, Nate <hr height=1 noshade id=quote></BLOCKQUOTE id=quote></font id=quote><font face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica" size=2 id=quote> Hi Nate,
Posting photos is pretty easy once you learn the ropes. First, you've got to store your photos somewhere on the internet. When you insert an image, the Forum software will go to that place on the internet and display your photo. It doesn't work if the photo is only on YOUR hard drive ... YOU'LL be able to see it, but the rest of us won't.
So, your first step is to register with a site like "Shutterfly." Shutterfly is free, and it works well with our Forum. Here is the link: http://www.shutterfly.com/index.jsp Simply sign up on their web site, then you transfer photos from your hard drive to a photo album that you create on Shutterfly.
Once you have your photos stored in an album on Shutterfly, all you have to do to post a photo is click on the 7th button from the left on the toolbar (listed next to "Format" ... the button has a black carrot in the upper left-hand corner, and the carrot points to a small icon that looks like a couple of mountain peaks). That will insert image brackets into your message ... then all you have to do is paste the URL of your Shutterfly photo between the two sets of image brackets.
To find the URL of your photo, first choose the photo you want to post. Then RIGHT click your mouse on the photo and a menu box appears. At the bottom of the box is the choice "properties." Select that and another page appears. About midway down the page you'll find the URL address listed (it begins with http). Simply copy it, then paste it between the "image" brackets as described next.
I can't use the brackets, 'cause the Forum will think I'm trying to post a photo ... but, imagine the {} below are really [] ...
{img}<b>URL goes here</b>{img}
That's it ... it's easy once you get used to it. Good luck!

Russian Spy Sattelite...
Guy named eric who we grab every once in a while if its really blowing...or that we allow to come with us when he shows up at the dock with a twelve pack...
How about a new folder for cruising pics etc...as nate mentions below? I am not sure of all of our size limitations, but this seems to be a good idea if we ahve the room. (I will post a reference to this in the Officers area so that you see it.) dw
