I used to sail with a guy who'd bring out his TV on Sunday afternoons. We'd sail down the Potomac while watching the Redskins on TV--up in the cockpit. He had a cheapo 9" B&W that you can't find anymore. I know, because I looked.
I actually just installed a pioneer avic 1 system in my cat 25, right under the entrance of the quarter berth on the starboard side , its real nice and I can watch dvds, and play music from the same unit, I like it,,,,
Many years ago, I bought a hand held TV. It had a 2.5 inch screen and small receiver built in. I could get maybe 3 stations. I bought it because it had an input for video; I used the TV for white balancing checks and correction when I used to video tape weddings. I had taped the TV to the side of the video camera.
The TV is small enough to travel anywhere. One could get a handheld mini TV for those must see shows - - as long as you can get the signal. Just an idea. At least one can say they have a TV on their boat.
