I received a W/M VHF 150 portable radio for XMAS. Would appreciate members preferred cradle locations on C 250. Pertinent question is location of unit for antenna reception. Range will not be an issue. THANX once again.

Ours is in a holder mounted to the wheel pedestal. This is the holder:

We took the suction cups off this, put in a couple of snaps, and hang it on the starboard side of the companionway on the factory snaps. Good for cell phone and GPS, too.

Here is my two cents worth. I have a rack on the pedestal

and then one in the cabin


both from West Marine, my favorite "toy" store.
