Dear Dan,

Spring is finally here!

Good news to help with your spring refit.

We have negotiated a special price from our vendor available for a brief time only. Replace that funky old vinyl rubrail surrounding your beautiful yacht.

And ours is even better than your original rubrail. We have our vendor mix an ultraviolet inhibiter into the raw material before it is extruded. It has better resistance to the sun and will look good longer than the original.

Replacement vinyl rubrail. 40% off to e-mail subscribers only!
With your rubrail choice in your shopping cart, just enter code 408VIRR in the "Coupon" field. Click "recalculate" and your special subscriber discount will be deducted form the price before checkout.
Gray wide vinyl #E1834 Regular price $159.95 Spring Special Price - $95.97

Tan wide vinyl #D1949 Regular price $159.95 Spring Special Price - $95.97

It's easier to install than you might think. New rubrail is much more supple than one that has set in the sun for 20 years. We coil the new vinyl in a bucket of very hot water to make it even more plyable. Add a little dish soap to make it slippery, then just work it into the aluminum channel using a broad, flat screwdriver or similar.

These special prices are only available through the end of next week. Friday April 25th is the last day, so order today!
Remember, enter code 408VIRR in the "Coupon" field.

Fair Winds!

A few years ago, I came this close to buying a new rubrail because mine was looking like its best days were long gone, but then I cleaned it with some Goof Off and it looks great.

Great tip. I was ready to hit the BUY button until I read your response.
But of course, if it doesn't work....you have to come up here and help me replace my rub rail.

I'm going to be upgrading the bow stem fitting on my 1980 c25 sr/fk. I'm assuming that I will need to remove the original rubrail to do this since the new fitting extends below the rubrail. Am I going to wish I had a new rubrail to put back on when I am done?

Thanks,
Todd
