I need to ask a general question, realizing there are some variabilities, but I just your best estimate.

Does anyone know the max height of a swing keel sitting a on trailer? (If it makes a difference, the trailer has rollers.)

For example, what is the height of the the pulpit (which I would presume to be the highest point on the boat) to the ground while sitting on the trailer.

Thanks,

Steve,
I don't have a swing, but what comes to mind from when I was looking, near 10' with the mast down and on the bow pullpit and near 11' at cabintop.
Hope that helps.

I just went out and took a look at mine and it is 7 1/2 feet from the ground to the deck at the bow.

Hi Steve,

I measured my Cat 25 from the top of the pulpit to the ground; it is approximately 5 inches shy of 10 feet.

Too tall to park in my garage. I would need a 12 foot clearance for my comfort.

Plus a mast is an easy 10 ft. I also consider 12 to be the safe number.

10'6" with mast on pulpit.
I took mine on a Ferry and they put me in the 15' clearance lane with the truckers.

The height from the mast on the pulpit to the ground will vary depending on the trailer and the tow vehicle, due to the vehicle's ground clearance and the hitch placement on the tow vehicle. you should measure at both ends of the boom, just to be sure.

Not sure of the measurement but I don't leave the CB Marine antenna mounted on the stern pulpit anymore. When leading the gang on the road I made a turn-a-round through a closed gas station and saw a shower of white like snow in my mirrors and of course the gang will never let me hear the end of breaking a lot of florescent bulbs.
