I modified the rudder so it can be raised at my marina which gets a crazy low tide at low tide,,
got tired of removing the rudder,,

That looks like quite a reach you have to be able to pull the pin. Just wondering about the mechanics of it, does that big rope stay on the end of the rudder all the time?

and Matt , it is a little bit of a reach, but I will use the ladder, or I can pull the pin at my dock when I come in at high tide before I leave. I did consider that prior to doing it. Good observation,,,
and yes the rope stays on,
