Anyone have any advice on cleaning up aluminum window frames. We've taken all our windows out to reseal with the CD kit. This is probably the first time this has been done on our tired vintage 1977 model.
We've been going at the oxidation with razor blades, acetone, old scrubbies, and a popsicle stick. I've recently read a piece that recommended a cream of tarter and vinegar mix. Rhubarb stalks as well were recommended.
try using something called flitz, I use it, or should say used it to polish the aluminum on my motorcycles years ago, it worked great, also any product for polishing aluminum will work as well
