OK you figgured out how to post a picture - Now all you have to do is turn it around.
Just saw your photo in the "thanks" thread. Is that the same boat before the paint job? I'd be interested to know if the yellow paint makes it hotter inside the boat during the summer.
yes, same boat, that picture was taken the day I bought her and took ownership, Ill let you know about the paint, not sure if it will, but I also plan on putting in A/C,(dont laugh) I really hate it when its really hot and humid, as it is alot here in NY I also have a bimini top and plan to install it as soon as I raise my mast this week, I did alot of behind the scene stuff to my boat, including a helm steering for the outboard, elctric bilge pump, stereo system with flip up screen for dvds, re did all the wood, electrics including radio, dept sounder(which is an old model but I liked it, so I re installed it, paint, swing keel cable, sails etc etc etc, so I plan on enjoying it this year , instead of staying at the dock like I did last year, as I had a 30 foot power boat with twin V8 engines and the fuel was kiling me, so we decided to go sailing,, think Im gonna like it
You'll really like having the bimini. We were able to transfer the bimini from our C-22 without modifications, just had to install the connecting hardware to the deck of the C-25. However, I do have the tall rig, so I do have to reef the main if I want to sail with the bimini up. however, that's not so bad since my reefed main is almost the same size as a standard rig main.
Q: The standard rig boom is a foot higher than the tall... I found that I couldn't quite stand straight under my bimini (standard rig) but standing behind it, I could see over and under it, which is a good thing. I'm about 5-9.
