My shiny old Merc failed to start on Sunday, which bummed me out pretty bad. (I'm shopping for a gondola pole. ;o) The bright side of the cloud is I now know a lot more about motors thanks to you guys and the internet. Here's some link's I found that are quite helpful. Perhaps somebody could post them in the technical tips section as I don't know how to.
Try that white gas trick. It has worked for me for years. I was wondering if it helped in cold weather. I've used it in small 2 cycle engines all my life. Lawn mowers, etc.
