Indiscipline and the Baumgart family will be cruising San Diego to Catalina's Two Harbors August 11 - 14. We will be camping at a boat-in secluded spot called Ripper's. It is 4 miles from Two Harbors. Indiscipline will also have a spot on the string line.

The kids are coming over on the ferry from Long Beach. After they leave, I will depart for Santa Barbara Island, then a 2 week trip to Santa Cruz and hopefully Santa Rosa and San Miguel. The trip will be over Aug. 29 and I'll have a long 3 day weekend to recover.

If anyone would like to come for all or part, please contact me.

"then a 2 week trip to Santa Cruz and hopefully Santa Rosa and San Miguel."

That's a bloody CRUISE. The other islands (beside Catalina) are uninhabited... yes?

Yes, the other islands are uninhabited for the most part - they certainly have no facilities.

Here is a link to my past voyage to Santa Barbara Island.

3 weeks with no facilities and 2 weeks alone. Also I plan to sail all the way home from Santa Cruz Island without stopping - should be a passage of several days at sea. Spinnaker run all the way.

Getting all the way out to San Miguel will require good planning, good weather, good equipment, and courage. I was lacking some of these last time I tried.
