Was curious if I am the only one with this issue. I have been looking to replace the manual bilge pump on my 1980 25. It looks like a typical Whale/Rule pump, however, the one sold by CD has the handle centered witihin the four monthing holes while my boat has an offset pump handle and a @1"x5" opening with snap in cover where the handle goes/moves. Does anyone know exactly what model of what brand pump Catalina used in 1980?

I agree with the electric, unless you dont have any battery power, I would def go with an electric, and make sure if you do use an electric, have it direct wired to a battery regardless of what your battery switch is on so that if you accidentally shut off all battery power , your bilge pump will still work, and its nice to have a manual on switch to
Oops, didnt know Peter didnt have battery. Anyway, that pump may no longer be available. I am sure Catalina can advise you or know of a replacement. Also batteries are pretty inexpensive. Steve A
Thanks for the input. I do have batteries but want a manual the security of a manual pump -- just do not want to cut additional holes to accomodate what should be available somewhere.
