I have a 1981 Cat 25. Am I correct that the galley sink and ice box drain through the hull and into the waterway? If so, I want to connect my galley sink drain to the holding tank. I would appreciate any suggestions, and also would like to know the diameter of the current drain hoses. Thanks.

One concern to think about is that you may have a relatively long line and closer to horizontal compared to the present hookup, thereby increasing the chances of any food debris settling somewhere in the line and possibly eventually causing a blockage.

Then you put your air horn against the sink drain and push the button!
