Here is a little mod I did to get a little more muscle on the outhaul. Just cut about 12" of the plastic off the outhaul coming out the rear of the boom, run it through a wire block and attach the block to the clew and the bitter end to aft boom block separator. Sure makes it easier in high winds to really crank out the mainsail foot.
