Hello Everyone,

I am thinking of putting the trailer under this pretty boat (see picture below) up for sale. I am selling it for 2 reasons: 1) My wife wants it out of the yard and 2) I could really use the $ to buy a new main. I'm guessing by the bias-ply tires that it's 20-30yrs old, but lightly used and very solidly built (could probably hold up to a 28'). Before posting it on Craigslist and this forum I was wondering what you think it's worth (I am in Washington State)??? Anyone interested? I may be interested in a trade if you have newer sails.

It is not a typical trailer, it almost looks like a cradle that went to the welding shop and came out a trailer. No drop axles, minimal supports, dead tires, nothing that makes it look road worthy. It looks appropriate as a yard trailer. $800-$1000
post more photos if you like

Nice looking boat, tell your wife to paint the trailer and hang pots from it all summer.

Agree with Frank on this one. I would not tow very far with that trailer. IMHO: Local use only.

OTOH, I need a "yard trailer" to make the bi-annual run to the crane and back, and leave the boat on for the winter. We live about 8km (5 miles) from our launch site. What you have would be just the ticket.

Sadly, I live on the other side of the continent

Edit to add...
I could pick up a pair of these and a couple leaf springs and weld them to the cradle to come up with what you have - To convert my cradle to that I'd be looking at +/- $700 Princess Auto Axles
