What is that supposed to mean???????????????
I worked my butt off promoting the regatta and only had two out of town boats show up. We certainly were not embarrased! I'd like to see you race Gary and see how close you get. Private party my butt!!!!!!!!! Its people like you that will be the undoing of this association.

Dave,
I had a friend take photos during the regatta. He told me he took 800 shots. I've seen two. Sometimes you have to count on others and it doesn't work out.
Sorry

Oops... Bad joke... Raw nerve... Very sorry. It was the "only two" part I was making fun of--not the efforts involved.

Back into my hole...

I, too, would like to see pics if someone will post them. Unfortunately, traveling with our C-25 is not an option at this time. Took forever to find a trailer for it, which is still a work in progress (the idea was to make it a "fleet" trailer with cost sharing). Don't have a proper tow vehicle yet either.
Also, in 2 weeks the admiral is having knee replacement surgery so there goes a bunch more from the treasury.

holy cow!! it was hot and humid today.

Got up to 95 today here, Dave. It's 9:30 PM and still over 80 outside. I worked on the trailer this afternoon (in the shade of trees)replacing some of the carpet - it's almost ready, but we're going out sailing tomorrow after church. Supposed to be only 92! Haha!
I'd like to get together with you very much. Your idea would save hauling boats each way. Got any plans to come to Nashville later this month or this Fall? Laura has been trying to get us to bring the C-22 to Carlyle, and has been talking up the Whale-of-a-Sail Regatta. Sounds like a fun event.

whale of a sail is a fun event.
you could probably do some damage to local sailors with a c22.

my wife is in nashville every three months and i'mj going to see when her next trip is.

hope you can make the whale. let me know.
i probably will sail a mc scow and not the c25.
if i can't get a fleet of mc's then i'll go back to the c25
