Paul - does the device require that you know the height of an object off in the distance to calculate the distance to that object?

Hi Jerlim,

You don't need to know the height.

It shoots a beam out and calculates the bounce back. I guess like a radar.

It works really well and has 4X magnification. It will shoot up to 400 yards. A-little over 1/4 mile.
