I have a 5-day business trip to SF scheduled for October, and will have Saturday the 25th free beforehand, and possibly Sunday.

Does anyone think they might go out that weekend and need crew?

You can fly to San Diego for about $100 and I'll even let you overnight on my boat.

My work has taken me from DC to the west coast twice this month, and I was lucky to team up with PZell on the C-25 Sparky. I arrived before my conference started and first we had a nice afternoon trip and then an exciting all day sail past the Oakland Bay Bridge and up the Bay around Angel Island, tacking up "the slot" out past the Golden Gate Bridge, back around SF harbor by Alcatraz and Pier 39 on a run wing-and-wing with the whisker pole, and then back to Paul's home marina. We passed through about 10 different conditions of wind and chop and current and temperature shifts along the way. Local conditions to the extreme. I loved it. Thanks so much.

My pleasure. Any excuse to go sailing. Nice tour, but a very sedate slot.
