Is there a schematic available showing the aluminum window frames used in a 1981 C 25? (I assume the frames will be the same for many production years).

A good schematic along with written instructions on how to install the reseal kit from CD would be most helpful.

Ps: I did a search in the archives and came up with lots of useful information but no schematic or written instructions although lots of descriptions of how folks successfully or unsuccessfully went through the task of resealing windows!

I would expect the kit from CD to have good instructions.

Awjile ago, I posted the drawings and guidance that Catalina Yachts provided to me regarding window/port replacement on the newer cat 25's, those without the aluminum frame. catalina yachts still provides support for the non-aluminum frame windows. they will custom cut the window after the boatowner submits a template of the window. I do not believe they provide support for replacement of the aluminum windows but they may have the drawings from back when they did. may want to send an EMail or phone their technical support personnel.

I did the replacement a few years ago...only about 80% successful......CD does provide instructions, but it is pretty straight forward. Call there and speak w/ them, they'll likely send the info to you prior to making a purchase. It took all of a day, actually believe that if I did it again, having gained the experience and skills, the results would be better...
