I have not used the new spinnaker I got from Don't Panic! It is smaller, and it is 0.75 oz (compared to my other 0.5 oz). It will make a good #2. It is also rigged to fly poleless - or with a pole.
I don't have sail numbers on it yet.
It is in great shape and I think flown twice and once was the day I got it.
Its very surprising to me that our standard rig Cat 25s are competitive and relatively faster off the wind and down wind (with a big, light, spinnaker). We are competitive upwind in a big blow.
Light air (5 - 10 knots) upwind or winds forward of the beam is our achilies heel.
Charlie, I particularly like the picture of us buried in the swell. Looks like we were out in big water which, of course, is not true. How did you get the swell to part and frame Indiscipline's name like that? The last shot with Cabrillo Point and the Point Loma Lighthouse in the background should be familiar to all those familiar with San Diego. Juan Cabrillo discovered San Diego Harbor there in 1542. That same year he stepped out of his boat at Catalina Island, fractured his shin, and died 6 weeks later.
