Somehow I think it's the anarchy forum, then us, then the rest. I've been trolling around other forums and saddened by the infrequent postings. Without doubt, IMHO, the community value of the forum is huge.
Nothing says you can't post in the admiralty forums Frank, although I suspect you're looking more for technical advice on the C-30 than you'll get from here.
Let us know what you find, Rita's already uttered the words "we need a bigger boat"...da-da da-da da-da
Frank, I was looking at a c320 and found a forum but it is nothing like ours-not even close. Steve A PS btw, Frank, you got a slip down there for that monster?
<font color="blue"><font size="4"><font face="Comic Sans MS">Stu from this site http://www.c34.org/ has helped out with suggestions on this Catalina 25-250 site and other sites. I use the Catalina 34 site because I have same or similar engine , heater, pumps, electrical, diesel engine problems, etc. The 34 site has a very good archives, which I use a lot and thank them for doing a good job.
I also use this site and thank them, because I had a C250 until I moved up for head height room.

The best source of tech info that I've seen on C30s is in the C30 section of Mainsheet. If you can get your hands on back issues, you'll find an enormous amount of info.
You will have to do a little more digging, but the info is out there. I've been looking at 30+ footers. Lots of info, lots of sources for technical stuff.
Uh-oh Frank! I think you've ben bit real hard by the 5 foot-itis thing. Didn't we just go through these discussion a while ago? Good luck in your search. I think the last discussion about this is what convinced me to stay where I am for now. Would you believe I've even entertained thoughts of going smaller for a more trailer-sailer experience?
John, I remember that discussion. Was it the costs or technical aspects that convinced you? I thought our 25 fit your description of a smaller boat-more trailer-sailor friendly. Even though I have toyed with trading up to a newer 320, I love that I can call ahead and make a reservation for a mooring at the Isthmus on Catalina Island(for boats 25' or less only). Steve A
