Need to pull Noeta out this Fall and get new paint on the bottom. Any suggestions and/or prices ranges in the Tacoma area? Any Fin Keel trailers for lease in the area?

Doug what the heck are you thinking of. Hylebos Marina on the Hylebos waterway is the best. Its about 250 round trip including EPA fee and pressure wash. You will get a much cheaper rate if you stay long term like over the winter. Let the bottom dry out and fix any blisters. Go to Bronze through hulls and do the repaint. I have the Makita orbital sander and the big shop vac with dual filtration for EPA requirments. I was just wondering what I was going to do this winter. Do you need a hand ? I have everything you will need tool wise and all it will cost is a sail when its all done. Daily yard rate is 10$ a daybut a lot less long term. I recomend hauling for the winter and doing the full Monty. Ill help. Let me know.

Doug,
You need to take Douglas up on this for sure!, anytime you can get experienced help (and with the tools), then do it! I just finished doing my 250WK for the 1st time myself and I had to do the research on how to and by some additional tools. It is a great learning experience and you get to take care of other things that may need attention or just preventive maintaince stuff.
Go for it!

I called Hylebos and they said I couldn't strip the hull there. I'll call them again. Would be noce to have he out for a while to chip away at that long list of "when she's out of the water" projects.

Doug striping the hull and doing a bottom job are two seperate issues. They dont alow chemical stripers but you can sand. Thats what I mean when I say I have the right tools. I have an 8 hole orbital makita sander with vacume attachment. 5hp minimum on the vacume and double filtration. All you need to tell them is your going to do a bottom job. The more you explain the more they will balk. I sanded off every bit of fouling paint and they watched. You just cant strip the gell or use chemical stripers.
