Well, Steve--there's a "bottom job" you might want to take care of yourself! <img src=icon_smile_tongue.gif border=0 align=middle>

Steve,

I think I now understand why you named your boat 'Moon Chaser' <img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>. I must have been sailing on a much different part of the lake than you have! Haven't had the pleasure of seeing such. . . well. .. I think you know what I mean. . .

Bren, Dave,
This type of Moon does not appear very often at Canyon Lake, as This is a sailor's lake, however, to the North at Lake Travis in Austin Tx, this Moon is seen often since it is a power boaters haven mixed in with lots of Sailors........"STARBOARD"!,

Steve - you are slipped on the wrong dock in the marina! Just come and enjoy a brew in my cockpit any Summer weekend late afternoon - all the power boats with their bikinied "accessories" come past on their way to the fuel dock! <img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle> (Bren will need to keep the kids belowdecks - he's only 4 boats down from me!!)

How come we sailors don't get those "accessories"? <img src=icon_smile_tongue.gif border=0 align=middle>

(Never mind...)

Dave - when my son was in his 20's and had a power boat, he once told me that to a lot of young ladies a big engine is an aphrodisiac...certainly he acquired more than his fair share of "accessories"<img src=icon_smile_approve.gif border=0 align=middle>

And here's what happened the last time that 'moon' was observed by a sailor.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but, you guys must be sailing in the wrong places. It is not unusual at all to see a bare breasted lady sunning on the bow of a sailboat cruising the ICW here on the Redneck Rivera. Cant ague with that photo though, NICE SHOT!

Derek,

Haven't decided if the wet-slip will be permanent or if I'll be going back to dry-slipping once the road reopens. . . but(t) I may have to put another check mark in the "plus" side of the wet-slip debate if what you say is true! I can always give the kids a box of Legos and send them below! Now. . . what about the Admiral?<img src=icon_smile_blush.gif border=0 align=middle>

Dan,
Yes it is a great shot!
Derek and Bren,
I have the brew to share...just invite me and I think it was me that lost the contact!<img src=icon_smile_blackeye.gif border=0 align=middle>

Steve
PS. To those that do not know of Travis Lake which is located 30 minutes from Downtown Austin, Tx...the most liberal town in Texas,,there exist a park/beach on the lake known as Hippy Hollow which is clothing optional so even though Derek sees a few Bikini's wash by...it is not like the weekend parades at Lake Travis!

I think she's either waxing the hull or checking the stinkpot engine for problems. She should come over to our side as non skid decks require no wax, and we use sails

I finally get my come-on(the forum that is) straightened out then this....It's too much I tell you... at my age change comes painfully slow...I couldn't find a contact lens the size of a hub cap painted dayglow pink....so I guess she's safe from me at least...D R A T <img src=icon_smile_sad.gif border=0 align=middle>

Great response Dave. I've been trying to come up with a "bottom job" joke but you hit it right on the money.

I had a thing buzzing around in my head...did he say that the picture was taken on C A N Y O N lake, or the canyon was taken on, oh! forget about it.....and wouldn't you know it, the forum required that I sign in again...and that's after following advice to log off. It's, "that old devil moon", must be following me about.

Now, Val, you can practice using the little trashcan icon that lets you delete your own duplicate posts. Pretty soon, you'll get the hang of this...

Val.... do a 180 here....not logging off but rather just closing the window will lead to a simpler return

Ya Val, it's the machine that's tetched... <img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle> In any case, on your own posts (but not anyone else's) the rightmost icon on the header supposed to look like a little trashcan and a sheet of paper. Click it, and the post goes away. As you may know, the one with the yellow pencil lets you edit your own post. Both are nice features of this forum software.

And the Log Off feature is only for when you want to log on as somebody else... As Arlyn says, when you're done, just go somewhere else (or close the browser).

Steve,

Thanks for the reminder! As per Derek's plan, you're invited to 'B' dock ANY time.

Derek,

OUTSTANDING idea!! I like the way you think!<img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle>
