I race my Catalina 250 and want to improve the weight distribution by moving the battery for my electric start 9.8 hp outboard to the bow. I would like suggestions from anyone who has put their battery far forward. How did you secure the battery box ? Where did you route the battery cables ? Is six gauge stranded cable the right thing to use ?
