In the month of December we sent out renewals. To date there are 79 MEMBERS who have not yet renewed.

I realize it was Christmas and times are tough. But where else can you get such a bargain for only $22 per YEAR! I know you all know the perks of being a member and that this Association has VALUE many times over the cost of membership.

Please, take a few minutes to renew. Your support is great appreciated and needed.

Paul, 79 NOT renewing in one month is not good in my eyes. Not sure what you meant 79 out of 80.

I'll add a new membership. I've been lurking and occasionally contributing and feel that this site is well worth supporting. I'm looking forward to my first issue of the Mainsheet!

I agree, Steve. Maybe a direct mailing ( "E" or "Snail") to those 79 that might have renewed last month might be helpful?

Todd, Again thank you so much for your NEW membership.

John, Our database manager(only paid position)sends out "3" notices to renew to everyone who does NOT renew. I try to follow up with a personal request after that. Not sure what else to do.

I has come to my attention that some of you have forgotten to renew. Don't be shy and it is certainly not too late. Please send me a note and I will be happy to assist.

It so happened that I joined over the weekend and sent my check in yesterday. I've received so much help on this site and it wasn't fair that I always took without giving something in return. Should have done it long ago!

Thanks to everyone on this site for making it the best!

How do you know when your membership expires? I signed up last winter some time, but I don't remember whether it was in Feb, Mar or Apr? Will I get an email or snail mail?

Same question here- I've been following the forum here for a year, and thanks so much, it was this association that helped me choose the C25. Joined spring '08, are all memberships up in December, or are these 12 mos from anniversery date?

I was about a month delinquent in renewing, but because of health issues taking up my attention. Why not post a list of delinquent renewals on this forum just once and see the response?

Or have an area where you can view your anniversary date?

I am finally sending in my dues. Mailed my payment this AM. I have been hanging around long enough and need to contribute to a great Association. Additionally, this web site is a great resource for our boats and provides great information for prospective owners as well as seasoned sailors.

I'd be more than happy to join (and pay) but live in the Caribbean. Can you take cards?

Cheers Jonathan

I think the Association's "Caribbean Policy" is to fly me down to collect your dues personally, after we have spent about a week negotiating your membership responsibilities. See you soon!

Hasn't that been our strict "Caribbean Policy"?

I believe you need a quorum of at least three to negotiate such niceties. Rita & I can assist.

Wayne, We have a paid staff member who sends out 3 renewal notices. We are in the process of being able to view your membership info including expiration date and pay on this site to make it easier. More to come.
