Came across this in a search about solar power this morning. Pretty interesting to scan across the different categories. While Seattle comes in as one of the cloudiest cities (boy howdy), and "best for allergies" (they must mean for getting them, I'd never had an allergic reaction to anything till I moved up here), it doesn't even make the top ten for rainiest cities.

I can give you San Diego's forecast right now and be correct for 300 days of the year.

Night and morning clouds. Sunny afternoons. High 80, low 65. Afternoon winds NW 10 - 15. Seas 2 - 3. Humidity 50%.

It is this today. Just got back from lunch at a sidewalk cafe.

The post was not what I was expecting on reading the title.

Here's an OT link that I use often.

Woke up to -25 celcius this morning (-13 Far.) but thats OK because its supposed to warm up to -19 (-2 F)with a windchill of -29 (-20) today. You know its cold when the ice can't melt the snow on the roads anymore. Traffic was a mess today. But from what I hear Winnipeg was even colder than us.

Complaining about the weather is a Canadian passtime.

It was -70(F) the day in January in 1983 I arrived at Galena Airport, Alaska for my year in the wilderness (OK, a little exageration, it was an Air Force Base). In perspective, this really ain't so bad. At least we have sunshine here.
