I just received my new mainsail from Ullman in c/o Catalina Direct and I must say I think I got one hell of a deal!! All the little extra
add-ons that normally jack up the cost of a sail were included...full battens, draft stripe, reef points, jack line, class insignia, sail number, cunningham, flattening reef!
As usual the service and support from Catalina Direct was outstanding, something often lost in todays marketplace. Kuodos to them for keeping us in affordable parts and doing it with a smile! Now all I have to do is wait until Saturday morning to play with my new toy. Anyone need a 15 year-old, bagged-out mainsail....cheap?

Nate,

If I may be so bold, what did your new main cost?

Nate:

Congratulations -- You must be very excited!

As many of us are approaching (or at) the end of our sailing season, you get to try out your new toy as your sailing season begins. Good show!

Hi,

I'm really "jonesing" to go sailing again.

May I have your old mainsail to jury-rig on my Marinette.

She ought to go pretty good down wind.

Don,
Six and one half boat units!

Richard,
Thanks....I am pretty jazzed to get out there and give her a whirl. Our club is holding a "Learn to Sail" class this weekend that should provide me the opportunity to mess with the sail while the students drive.

Thanks guys...it's nice to have someone to share stuff like this with. The folks at work just don't get it!!

"Six and one half boat units!" - Nate Adams

Wow, with all those options you would think that it would cost a lot more that that! Maybe if I'm good, Santa will bring me one for Christmas! I think this year I'll hang an empty sailbag on the mantle instead of a stocking.
