Have you guys ever heard these before? Or is it just the racers I sail with? In itself it's almost a good enough reason to move the traveller forward and cut 8-12" off the end of the boom???
My understanding is that the boom is longer due to the stern-mounted mainsheet set-up. Actually, I like the extra length as it allows space for my 3:1 outhaul arrangement. Can't do it on our C-22. BTW, did you know that there is only about 1/2" difference in the foot length of the C-22 and C-25 mains?
