Hi, I am wondering if the steps for a Swing Keel is the Same as a Fix Keel, outside the three holes that hold on the weinch for the Swing Keel. (Ref: 1979 Catalina SK)
I saw your post in the swap meet, and it got me thinking, why not jusy build steps? I assume you have the old ones to use as a template, and it wouldn't be hard to rabbit grooves to receive the treads.
Also, if you do get steps that are in rough condition, couldn't you just flip the tread over and have a clean surface again?
I am asking because I don't know, but it seems to me that either of these approaches might give you the results you are after.
