What type of grease do I use on the Pedestal Steering? It is a Push Pull set up. The linkage to the Rudder is exposed to the elements
I have a Cat 25

The only thing Constant about the Wind is that it is NOT.

Here is a link to an Edson chain and wire steering installation and maintenance guide. The maintenance instructions, and grease and oil specs, are towards the end.

It's called SuperLube in the Edson manual. West Marine sells SpecialLube which is (just as expensive) looks to be the same teflon marine grease for steering systems.
