We're really surprised to see just how dirty the fenders have become...any advice on a good way to clean them? They didn't respond too well to boat soap...THANKS!!

I made covers for them.
Before the fenders were dirty white, now with the covers, they are clean navy blue.

Our fenders are navy blue to begin with! To clean them we use Softscrub and/or toilet bowl cleaner.

OK, I tried Bleach, dishwasher soap, toilet bowl cleaner, soft-scrub. The soft-scrub worked the best but I think I found something that works 5 times easier!

Fast orange or the equivalent to what a mechanic uses to clean his hands. It has an abrasive in it that is more aggressive than soft-scrub and really powers through the dirt which I'm assuming is outboard motor oil and petroleum products floating around in the water.

White as they were when I bought them. Does not take the scratches off. If you're that anal, buy some new fenders!

Goof Off. Works great on nasty rubrails too. Don't use it on lifelines though. It started to melt mine.

Do you mean GoJo? I've got some of that on board as well. Our fender's bottoms get pretty gunked up over a season. I was content to get them clean enough to not make marks when we put them in the head for storage with SoftScrub, but it'd be nice to get them completely white again.
