Not able to measure it in place, but from recolection, it's about 1" dia.

I'm sure Catalina would give you the correct number..

I have it out right now. I read your post before dropping the keel and I meant to measure it... just forgot. I will post a measurement Friday morning... pulling a 36 hour shift right now.

Went by the house this morning and 1" is indeed the correct diameter... appears to be some type of brass alloy.

You guys were on the money...and I finally found plastic/nylon shims that appear to be the same material as the originals...at a Pool & Spa store believe it or not!
