Yes, and it works well. Trouble is it is labor-intensive to apply and only lasted a month between applications. I stopped using it and went to a product Arlyn recommended - Starbrite Deck Cleaner with PTEF. It is easy to apply, cleans very well and leaves a non-slippery coating on the deck.
I asked the guy at WM the difference between the Starbrite brand and the WM brand and he said he didn't know but he knew that they're made by the same company. The WM brand was on sale for $6.99/qt today.
Awhile ago, Practical Sailor had a review of the 3 main non-skid products and ranked them in this order: Woody Wax Starbrite Aurora
Before the article came out, I was trying two of the products anyway. I first bought the Aurora product online (believe it comes from Canada). It's okay (sort of a cream in one of those flat round containers that you sometimes see car paste wax) but you go thru it pretty quickly and so it is expensive to go over all the non-skid and that's just the one time.
I then used the Starbrite Product (but I was able to initially get it under the Boat US label when Boat US was clearing stock). I eventually bought about 6 or so of the bottles for about $1/each. The Starbrite product is the same and believe it is around $12-$15/bottle at least last time I noticed it. It was the most reasonable priced of the three products and the bottle can cover a pretty good area if not the whole non-skid on the boat with some left over. It works okay - It's probably more of a cleaner but has some sort of protectant in it as well. It foams a bit when you mix it with some water.
Woodys Wax is so expensive and it is sold in a smaller bottle size than the Starbrite product. It's like paying to put liquid gold on your non-skid.
While i did not buy or use the Woody Wax, my thought is that in the magazine review, the Starbrite Product rated between the other two products and since it is the least expensive to buy....that's what i would go with...but then again, I was able to acquire 6 bottles for a total of $6.
These products do not make the non-skid slippery. But the two that I have tried also do not make it appear shiny if that is what you are expecting as an outcome. They basically help to clean the non-skid and put some protectant on it. It is an improvement but not like putting wax or Poliglow on the hull.
