There's a derelict 1982 C25 at my marina that has 6 winches aboard. I offered the marina $25ea for 2 of them. Now, here's my problem. I haven't the slightest idea how to get them off the boat without a chainsaw.
How do I open them up and remove them?

Take the retaining ring off at the top and drum slips up. The mounting screws are under the drum. It's easy. I'm looking for a Lewmar #6 if that boat has a spare.

I'm about to move my winches from the cabin top to the coamings "Nautiduck style". So would be nice to have 1 winch on the starboard side cabin top. If you can sell me 1 please say so.
