My anti skid is yellowing over the cockpit where we sit. Most of it came off with Easy Off and scrubbing with a brush but I wonder if there is not a better product? I'd like them to be white as new.

Star-Brite Deck Cleaner. Easy to use, does a great job and leaves a non-skip protective coating. We buy it by the gallon and transfer to a smaller dispenser.
BTW, I second the deck cleaner--Starbrite or WM (same stuff). If that doesn't work, the ultimate weapon is Soft Scrub with Bleach--then use the deck cleaner to add a little non-slippery protection.
I used the WM version of the non-skid cleaner for the first time last winter and was astounded by the ease and results. Yep, after that it's Softscrub. If it isn't textured, Mr. Clean Magic Eraser is a pretty amazing product, but I wouldn't rinse the waste water into the bay. I have used it on Pearl and to remove a year's worth of grubby hands on my white laptop.

Same stuff, different bottle.
I've found black streak remover to be a fairly good cleaner for a variety of troubles. Aside from the obvious black streaks, I use it on bird crap stains, black sole marks, and this past week, I found it works to dissolve the gooey sap from the seed pods that came from a nearby tree in the boatyard just before I launched this past weekend. I don't know what these pods were, but it was like they were covered in syrup.
Steve, Another option is Mary-Kate's Cleaning Detail for non-skid. I have a rubbermaid tub full of partially used and forgotten products. Cleaning Detail is one of only a few that I continued to buy for the boat. I think it's better than Soft Scrub, because it's not as gritty and performs as well or better. I get it at the Bass Pro Shop. They're usually priced better than most marine stores for anything I can use on the boat. Just my 2 cents.
The trick to a lot of cleaners, is to give them just enough time do their job, before you rinse them off. Also to use the best applicator for the job. A good stiff brush for the non skid and a sponge or scrubby on smooth gelcoat depending on how stubborn.
I figured out tonight why my antiskid was looking so bad. I had a bottle of Maguires Antioxidation stuff (its like sand color). Well I must of forgotten that was the source of my problem because I applied a liberal amount and started scrubing with a hard bristle brush. Well, the bristle brush was tinted sand color and so was the anti skid, in a nice camouflage patern too. Boy did the boat look ugly, like an old abadoned boat. I went to Canadian Tire, Home Depot to find that Star-Brite stuff. Found other Star-Brite products but not the deck cleaner. Finally bought that new Scrubbing Bubbles shower cleaner product I keep seening on TV. Let it for 5 minutes, brushed and hosed it down. The anti-skid look "almost" ok, but not quite like new. I'll buy a bottle of that Star-Brite cleaner the next time I see it.
Steve try Home hardware. If it isn't on the shelf, they should be able to order it in for you. Thats the nice thing about independantly owned stores (Our guy is really good and has ordered in the most bizarre things for me).
