How fast was this thing going to end up right there?

Ok, it was more likely left there when there was water. It must have been over a year ago that the lake was that high. Probably a little hard on the keel pin, but those things are tough I guess!

I spotted this two weekends ago. Does it happen to belong to anybody here?

It looks like it is on dirt or mud, so it should be fine. I think removing the mast would have been a good idea to reduce lateral loads in winds.

It still has its main on and a cover too! Rudder is lying on the dock. I heard that slips were hard to come by but this is ridiculous.

That pond is an arm of Lake Travis outside Austin, TX. Looks like a muddy pond because of all of the rain we had the week before.

Looks like he wants to be the very first one in the lake.

The O/B is gone too...with the proper motivation it shouldn't be too hard to launch.

You MUST be a local, Gary. No one else would spell Pedernales correctly, instead of the way it's usually pronounced.

Reminds me of the Robert Earl Keene song "There's Only One 'S' in New Braunfels!"

BTW, resent the email. Did you get it?

Yeah, I got the one you sent today to my work email.

Unfortunately I'm not a local but want to be! As for the spelling I found that it was really easy to look up the spelling on the Internet! My first attempt at spelling Pedernales didn't look right (my old memory could have sworn it was Perdenales) so I looked it up!

And I thought only Canyon was that bad.
The teak desperately needs a refinish. You should put a note on it that says "please sell me to someone who loves me." :)
