Does anyone know where to get the red replacement bulbs for the interior lights on a 1998 C250 wb #370> Current bulbs are double bayonet type, 12v 6w. WM does not have them even in the catalog

Jay,
I have the same year and model boat, # 360. While my lights are working well I have tried to pick up a spare bulb or two without success. While I have not done any kind of intense search, I do look for them whenever I stop at a new marine or automotive store. One marina near the C & D Canal said that they had them on order and that they'd call me when they arrived but I never heard from them. I guess that when they finally do go I;ll end up replacing the whole fixture...with LEDs for sure.

I replaced all my interior festoon lights a couple years ago with festoon LEDs including the Red ones from Super Bright LEDs. I can't remember the part numbers of the ones I got, I just measured the length of the regular festoon bulb and matched it up with one similar in size off their web site. They were very close in size, I remember I had to spread the medal tangs that hold the festoon apart just a little with my fingers to get the LEDs to fit. The people at SuperBright will work with you.

Jay,
Have you had any problems with the lens cover cracking on the sides on these type lights? I've had three crack over the years and was wondering if it was just me or are others having problems with them too.

I'm with you Tom, we have broken 2 in just 4 years.

I replaced the lamp above the galley with an early LED, will replace it this year with a better grade.

Waiting till my new biz turns profitable before spending any mo money on JD

This is the first time I have had anything with the interior lights. They are not used very much-little evening sailing etc. I was surprised that this one burned out. Looking at the pricing of replacement bulbs, the complete light from Catalina Direct seemed very reasonable at $19.95.
