Im in the same boat so to speak. Three months ago I was facing the prospect of no job , no unemployment and no prospects of work. I had soooo much suport from the group here. I put my boat up for sale expecting it to take untill next spring. It sold in nine days and I was feeling realy down. Then the job situation turned around. I refinanced the house and receved some unexpected money from other sources. I placed a bid on a Cape Dory and the deal went south badly. I did get my money back. Im now about to close a deal on an Alberg 29. But there is no way you guys and girls are getting rid of me. I have too many friends here.

Gene and Doug...

As you both probably know, Ken Cave lurks around here long after having become a Cape Dory skipper, offering the wise advice of an experienced C-25 owner. I, for one, love to have him and you dropping in. We just can't help much with those Cape Dory rudder post or Morgan cutlass problems...

"DIDDO"
As you are both aware discussion on this forum often lead to topics other than Catalina related issues and imput from former Catalina owners or sailors in general is always a great resource. I visit the California Cape Dory forum almost as often as I visit this forum and I am sure that not everybody that adds to discusions there are Cape Dory owners. So do stay around Gene (as Doug, Ken and hopefully others have done) and sound off when the spirit moves you.
