Dear All Members,
I would like to point out that a slate of unopposed candidates has been nominated for the upcoming elections consisting of:

Vice Commodore - John Gisondi (see below)
Secretary/Web Master - Paul Alcock (incumbent)
Treasurer - Steve Auerbach (incumbent)
Chief Measurer - Bob Townsend (incumbent)
Capri 25 Measurer - Jim Stark (incumbent)

All but John Gisondi are standing officers, and the incumbents have been doing a superlative job.

Prior to his adoption of the handle <i>Peregrine</i>, John G also participated on this forum under the alias of C25-Observer. While things have settled down in the past year, 2008 was quite a different story.

Russ Johnson (current VC) has been nominated for Commodore. The ballots are almost ready and will be posted soon. Elections will be open for 2 weeks. You may write in a name. Candidates must be current paid members in good standing at the time of the election.

Dave Bristle will once again serve as the ballot counter.
