We ahd the first day of our Fall Series yesterday (supposedly 3 races).
It rained all day and during the first race there was the most torrential downpour I have ever seen on the lake. At one point we could not see a mark 20 yards ahead of us! We had 3" water in the cockpit just from the rain with it pouring out of the scuppers.
All 3 of us on the boat were soaked to the skin despite full rainsuits!
Fortunately lightning happened at the end of the race and the RC abandoned for the day.
Back in the slip discovered 2 leaks in the V-berth and a totally soaked bed...
