I have come to the conclusion that no one will come to Lake Simcoe to race, so I thought I'd dangle the idea of a regional 1-design regatta on Lake Ontario for next season.

Would anyone want to travel to the Toronto area for a Weekend race series? Say 2 triangle races one day and a longer race the next? I have contacts at a couple of the city marinas and can look into arranging slips/accomodation.

Any interest? Are thre any other racers in the Great Lakes region? Maybe I should write up a notice of race for the mainsheet and see if that gets any replies?
